المبادرة والنشاط هو من أجل التأكيد مرة أخرى على قرب و تعاطف جنود اليونيفيل مع الشعب اللبناني
بمشاركة حوالي ٥٠ إمرأة من عوائل الشهداء تم تنظيم أنشطة مشتركة مع نساء من جنود اليونيفيل و تم تنفيذ
النشاطات التالية دورة اسعافات أولية دورة قتال عسكري و دورة طبخ إيطالي بإشراف مدربين ايطاليين
مؤسسة المقدم الشهيد صبحي العاقوري هي مؤسسة لا تبغي الربح مدعومة من قبل الجيش اللبناني بإسم الضابط المغوار في الجيش اللبناني الذي استشهد خلال معارك نهر البارد عام ٢٠٠٧ تم تأسيس المؤسسة من قبل عقيلته السيدة ليا سنة ٢٠٠٨ بهدف مساعدة أبناء شهداء الجيش و تنظيم نشاطات لصالحهم و خاصةً للأطفال
منذ الثامن عشر من شهر تشرين الأول ٢٠١٧ قيادة القطاع الغربي في اليونيفيل المؤلفة من ٤٠٠٠ جندي سلام من ١٢ دولة هي بقيادة العميد في الجيش الإيطالي رودولفو سغانغا
تشارك إيطاليا في مهمة اليونيفيل بحوالي ١١٠٠ عسكري معظمهم من فرقة المظليين فولغوري
DAY WITH ASSOCIATION "MARTIRE LIEUTENANT COLONEL SOBHI AKOURY "
Shama (Lebanon) 01 December 2017 - Today, at the UNIFIL Sector West Command, Italian-based Parachutist Brigade "Folgore", conducted an initiative dedicated to the "Martyr Lieutenant Colonel Sobhi Akoury" association.
The initiative, which was intended to provide an opportunity to once again feel the closeness and affection of UNIFIL soldiers to the Lebanese population, was attended by about 50 wives of the Lebanese armed forces who, together with a large representation of UNIFIL's female staff from the various International Contingents deployed in Lebanon, have had the opportunity to engage in practical activities including lessons of Military Combat Method, First Aid and Italina cooking. Everything under the guidance of National Contingent Instructors.
The "Lieutenant Lieutenant Colonel Sobhi Akoury" Association is a non-profit organization supported by Lebanese Armed Forces (Laf), headed by Lebanese special forces officer who fell in 2007 in the Nahr El Bahred battle and founded by the Lea widow in 2008 with the aim of welcoming the orphans of the Lebanese military and organizing charity events and recreational activities aimed at children.
From October 18, 2017, the Commander of the Western Sector of UNIFIL, consisting of more than 4,000 peacekeepers from 12 different nations, is entrusted to Italian Army Brigade General Rodolfo Sganga.
Italy participates in the UNIFIL Mission with about 1100 militaries currently mainly based on Paratroopers of the Brigade "Folgore".
